The Origin of Family

The origin and purpose of "family" was established and instituted by God, not man. God said, “Let Us {the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit} make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority."{Genesis 1:26a}. "So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them."{Genesis 1:27}. Read more of our favorite scripture here.

God alone is our Heavenly Father and desires nothing less than His children walk in complete obedience to Him, love Him, and be imitators of Him. Our Father want us to have fellowship and relationship with Him and receive His blessings.

God's plan originated with Him as our Father, and Adam and Eve, His children. Like any good Father, His plan was expressed through His love for us and perfectly demonstrated; perfectly enjoying life without evil, without pain, and without suffering before sin entered the world.   Jesus came to redeem us back to our Heavenly Father, the Creator-Who, is our Original Parent.

Things Stay the Same

Consequently, after the avert tragedy of Adam and Eve's disobedience and rebelliousness, sin and its consequences entered the world. It's identical today but not without Jesus, the hope of our salvation!

Mankind continues sinning against God's standard, violating His laws and ordinances, and His divine purpose for His world. Man may live in this world but this world still belongs to God.

Recognizing the Issue

As with everything else, mankind continues to trespass against God. Prisons are filled with many inmates and crimes are being committed because they lack parenting/training that should have begun in the home first.

And don't forget the cemetery that houses many of our young children who were seeking love and affection in all the wrong places and the wrong crowds whose lives have been snapped by the devil. Tragically, the lists are endless because people continue to trespass against the Holy Father's teaching and attempt to establish their own ways.
